Pathways
Cereal or toast? It isn’t such a difficult decision is it really? But my brain is still fogged from the night before and right at this point in time making my mind up whether I want to hang on the cupboard door or hold it open is about as much I can handle this early on in the day. The Trench
There was a considerable swell rocking the boat – a parting gift from hurricane Eve. The experts had named it so, because according to their readouts Eve was a category five and had looked like being the mother of all storms. And cut the cords of bondage, So your lies no longer blind. Your authority is empty, A dark contagious plague.… Continue reading Snowflakes
Review of ‘Mary and Elizabeth’ by Emily Purdy
The front cover of the book carries the words; “Two sisters. United by blood, Divided by the crown.” These three sentences form the basis of a bitter sweet story that could easily have been just another rehash of Queen Elizabeth the First’s ascension to the throne. After all there have been a great many… Continue reading Review of ‘Mary and Elizabeth’ by Emily Purdy
