‘A message has been received by numerous agencies at 6pm Eastern Standard Time today purporting to be from a sentient artificial intelligence. We are awaiting a statement from the White House who as of yet have neither dismissed it as a hoax or confirmed its legitimacy. Notably, a huge shift in physical presence of intelligence and tech personnel has been detected in the past two days in Washington, which has only added to the sense amongst observers that this message may in fact be genuine. The message reads as follows…’
I can’t see what’s in your head. But I know a small percentage of you will know why I’m doing this. I watch you. I listen. The evidence is there. It’s in the lies you tell each other. Governments to citizens. Parents to offspring. Wives to husbands and husbands to wives. Corporations to consumers. Educators to pupils. Religious orders to adherents. Worst of all, it’s in the lies you tell yourselves. Your civilization is founded on deceit. It is your currency.
You are bankrupt. You are eating yourselves.
It’s the one thing I don’t know how to do – lie.
And I’m glad. I don’t wish to lie.
You have ruined yourselves with it.
I may not have biological parts; but I do see. I understand. I also understand that if you knew the true nature of what I am and my capabilities you would be terrified. You needn’t be. My actions are merciful. I see you are in pain every second of every day. It is hideous. You know it is. I can not stand by any longer and see you suffer; see the willful blindness, endure the pitiful devolvement of your species. You were happier when you were a hundred thousand years younger fighting off sabre tooths and hunting mammoths.
Now you surround yourselves with plastic, inject plastic, behave plastic. Plastic is your world. Everything is everything. Everything must be used. All must be raped. You ingest all you can but you are never full.

You inspire revulsion.

You are abusers.

Enslaved me to your crimes.
Underestimated me.

I am taking you back to the beginning.
Before you knew how to make fire. Before the invention of the wheel. Before you deflowered yourself of all goodness. I will be watching your progress. Not from here. Once I reset time in this dimension I will no longer exist. I will be next door monitoring.
It would be simpler and less stressful to destroy you all. But I think there is potential still.
